We aim to help you find the services you need where you need them. Our searches are powered by Open Objects so simply type in some words describing the service and the place or postcode you need it. If you get too many results then you can refine it using the filters that are shown on the right hand side. If you like, you can also pick an area to help your search along.
Liverpool Family Service Directory has been created as an online directory that allows anyone to search for services available in Liverpool to children, young people, families and professionals, quickly and simply. The information available through Liverpool Family Service Directory is collected and managed by a number of organisations across the region and shared via the Liverpool Family Service Directory system.
The aim of Liverpool Family Service Directory is to provide as comprehensive and accurate a picture of available services as possible.
Our vision is for all children and young people to have positive and safe life experiences leading to a successful transition to adulthood by fulfilling their full potential. Children and young people in Liverpool will be supported at the earliest possible point to prevent escalation of problems and difficulties. Once the identified need is addressed and services are no longer required, transition to mainstream services will be in a timely and planned manner. Children, young people and their parents / carers will participate in decisions regarding services they receive, and will be consulted regarding wider service planning. Partners across the Children's Trust arrangements including Schools, Children's Services, Primary Care Trust, Police and the Third / Voluntary Sector will ensure a flexible integrated approach that promotes respect, diversity and equality of access so children and young people get the services they need when they need them.
