The Local Authority have a duty to provide impartial and confidential information, advice and support to children and young people with special educational needs and parents of children and young people with special educational needs. This is around their special educational needs or disability and any education, health or social care issues linked to that special educational need or disability.

This is provided by SENDIASS. Information, advice and support is provided for all stages of a child or young person's education, including throughout the education, health and care assessment process.
