ASD- I am experienced in caring for children on the ASD spectrum. I have helped a child socialise with their peers, work alongside parents and school to achieve individual learning goals.
My last Autism Spectrum Disorder Awareness training was in June 2014
Type 1 diabetes - As a parent of a child with Type 1 diabetes I have a good understanding of food nutrition as I need to count the carbohydrates in meals and administer insulin accordingly. I am trained to change an insulin pump (Onminpod) and a G6 glucose monitor.
