YPAS - Domestic Abuse Therapy Service (Wings)
What is Wings?
Wings is a domestic abuse therapy service for children and young people who have been affected by the impact of domestic abuse in their home.
Experiencing domestic abuse can have a detrimental impact on children and young people’s short-term and long-term mental health and emotional wellbeing. Our counsellors are experienced at working with young people who may be displaying worrying behaviours or emotions. We are also able to work alongside other agencies in a multi-agency approach and can provide the voice of the child, as well as professional opinions that are based in a trauma-informed lens.
