Asylum Link Merseyside

Asylum Link is an organisation dedicated to assisting Asylum Seekers and Refugees and to raising public awareness around Refugee issues.
Asylum Link is a drop-in centre for all asylum seekers and refugees.
Asylum Link provides friendship, help and advice and encourages the participation of asylum seekers and refugees in the service.
We provide a place to meet, with a warm friendly welcome.
Services Provided:
Immigration Advice & General Casework. We provide Asylum advice at OISC level 1 as well as referral to other organisations and solicitors. Solicitors are available on site (GMIAU) by appointment.
General casework. We help with housing problems, missed NASS payments, accessing GPs and other situations which might arise.
Clothing. We provide free second-hand clothing for homeless asylum seekers and cheap clothing for those in support.
Furniture. We provide free, second-hand furniture and other essential household goods to refugees.
English Classes. We provide 4 ESOL classes at ALM through our volunteers classes and refer people to other providers, such as Liverpool Community College. Weekly English classes are also held at Merseyside Network for change.
Destitution support. We have a limited budget for meeting emergency needs of asylum seekers and refugees.
