Our organisation was founded in 2008 and we cater for disabled people. Our organisation is affiliated to Phab Ltd and we form a network of more than 150 Phab Clubs across England & Wales. The founding members of Phab Liverpool all have more than 25 years experience of being involved within a Phab Club environment.
We meet regularly at The Ark in Fairfield and our members can enjoy activities such as arts and craft, drama, board games, boccia and table tennis although if you would just like to relax with a cup of tea and some cake, that's fine with us too! We also run a pan-disability football team, that plays regularly in the Merseyside Day Centre League. We also enjoy the occasional off-site activity such as a group meal, or a night at the cinema or ten-pin bowling.
To become a member of Phab Liverpool you need to be at least 16 years old. We do welcome younger people but they must attend with someone who is 16 or over. Our Phab motto is 'make more of life together' and we strive to ensure our members enjoy their time at our activities. We feel it is important that we create a warm and welcoming atmosphere at our Phab projects, which helps our members feel safe and part of our Phab family.
