MDI (Merseyside Dance Initiative)

MDI is a charity and dance development organisation based in Liverpool, working with dancers of every age, ability, class and ethnicity to inspire the local community through the power of movement, as well as engaging with dance artists through a professional development programme.
Through MDI’s dance and health strategy, the organisation works with individuals who wouldn’t ordinarily have access to dance, including those living with asthma and dementia, to promote dance as a means to mental and physical wellbeing in collaboration with the health sector.
