Shelter Merseyside DIY Skills Adviser service

At Shelter we have a DIY skills advisor whose role is to upskill clients in the community and also work with local agencies to help with any projects that they may have.    Our DIY Skills Adviser can help with housing improvements and to maintain tenancies. By providing DIY advice and hands-on help, we’ll support clients to turn a house into a comfortable home.   Here are some of the things we can help with: — Painting and decorating — Shelving — Fitting of curtain rails, curtains and blinds — Building furniture — Fencing repairs & installation of gates — Gardening   There is no eligibility criteria for referral.
