We are thrilled to announce the arrival of Cathy Bernard as Liverpool's newly appointed Designated Social Care Officer (DSCO) for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting children, young people, and their families, Cathy's role will play a vital part in ensuring that the social care needs of our SEND community are met with utmost care and expertise.

With a strong background in social care and a dedication to advocating for the rights and wellbeing of individuals with SEND, she is well-equipped to take on this essential role within Liverpool City Council.
