About us

We work in partnership with individuals, families, doctors, teachers and other agencies to improve  emotional well being, educational attainment, behaviour and life chances through better understanding and self management of ADHD, ASD, and associated conditions.  The Foundation also works with partners across all sectors to promote inclusion and life chances in health, education and employment.

 

What do we do?
We support Liverpool families through providing:

 

  • Early years support for both public and private early years providers across the city

 

  • Information, advice and guidance to parents

 

  • Online Skill Building Training for Parents/Carers  around Understanding and Supporting ADHD and associated difficulties.

 

  • Online therapy and continuity support for children and young people referred by schools

  

  • Monthly drop-in support sessions for families living with Tourette’s Syndrome.

 

  • Social Media support for 150,000+ followers

 

  • A wide range of information and support documents, podcast and webinars available on our website

 

  • Neurodiversity Clinic (private service)

 

 

 

In addition, we are also the leading training provider for Education, Health and Social Care professionals in Health, Education and Social care sectors. Training enquiries to colin.foley@adhdfoundation.org.uk 

Traded services are available to schools and colleges.

 

Who can we support?
We support Children and Young People with a diagnosis of ADHD, or on the pathway to a diagnosis, living in Liverpool. We offer a wide variety of services to other areas, accessible via schools.

 

We offer advice and training for professionals nationwide.
