Local Offer

Bradbury Fields mission is to promote independence for blind and partially sighted people within the community, to promote the prevention of blindness agenda, and value and embrace diversity in everything that we do.

We are able to provide services to young people (aged 18 years+) and adults who are registered or registerable as blind (severely sight impaired) or partially sighted (sight impaired).

We have a team of qualified rehabilitation officers and assistants who can complete an assessment of needs relating to sight loss and provide rehabilitation training with a view to our service users retaining or regaining independence following non-correctable sight loss.

We also offer advice on benefits and concessions arising from sight loss.

We offer a number of social and leisure activities, from tandem cycling to swimming, quiz nights, social evenings and other events held throughout the year.

We have rooms available to hire for events, for which we will also provide catering.

We offer a transcription service, allowing us to provide information in braille, large print and audio formats.

Visual awareness training is available to individuals or groups.
