Celebrating the Reverse Jobs Fair

Liverpool City Council is proud to announce the success of the Reverse Jobs Fair held on the 1st of March, which provided a unique platform for young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to showcase their skills and talents to potential employers.

The event was a departure from the traditional recruitment fair model, with the interns taking the lead in hosting information tables and engaging with employers, providing an opportunity for them to speak about their experiences in the workplace and their career aspirations.

The interns took great pride in preparing and presenting at the fair, and their professionalism and confidence in speaking with potential employers were an inspiration to all in attendance.

The success of the event is a testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone involved, from the interns to the organisers, and we are delighted to have played a part in promoting inclusive employment opportunities and accessible recruitment practices.

Liverpool City Council would like to extend our congratulations to all the interns who participated in the Reverse Jobs Fair, and to thank all the employers who attended and engaged with the event. We look forward to seeing the positive impact of this event on our community in the years to come.
